Ten Years Later, A Community Gathering Renewed

A review of the effect of and lessons learned since the event Making Sense of It: A Community Gathering, A Foundation for the Future held in November of 2001. The 2011 event is co-sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council.

At 5:00pm there will be a reception and presentation of the art project Ten Years After 9/11: Walking the Path to Peace and Security, a program of the American Friends Service Committee and the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council. The project, conceived by AFSC, involves panels of artwork by various faith traditions, expressing that faith's interpretation of the project theme.  The presentation will begin at 6:00 pm, with the Call to Prayer by Kris Kriner followed by presentations from community leaders.
