“When Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) received its first grant soon after 9/11, I never thought that eight years later I would be sharing a stage with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. A few weeks ago, I did just that at the Roosevelt Institute Four Freedoms Awards Ceremony in New York. Secretary Clinton received the overall Four Freedoms Medal for her work, and IFYC was honored with the Freedom of Worship Medal.”
