Bingo on the Boulevard

Bingo

Bingo on the Boulevard dramatizes stories from different ages, races, socio-economic backgrounds, and mental health conditions in addition to various cultural and faith traditions. For example, you’ll meet: A feisty 80-year old who steps outside her ‘blue blood’ family’s expectations to fight for human rights and social justice . . . A former female impersonator and his experience growing up gay in rural Missouri . . . A homeless schizophrenic, cut off from his Alabama roots, who looks for community at the monthly bingo game . . . and many others.
Like The Hindu and the Cowboy, this new one-act play is written by Donna W. Ziegenhorn and inspired by true stories gathered from Kansas Citians.
