The third Annual Peace Walk sponsored by the Kansas City Interfaith Youth Alliance will be held on Sunday, September 23 starting at 2:30 pm at Church of the Resurrection (COR) – 137th and Nall.
The walk will proceed to Congregation Beth Shalom (142nd & Lamar), and will end at the Islamic Center of Johnson County (ICJC) at 151st & Antioch.
Faith booths will be stationed throughout the route. They include: Alliance of Divine Love, the Baha’i Faith, Hindu Temple & Cultural Center, Penn Valley Friends, Rime Buddhist Center and the Vedanta Society.
Registration is from 1:30-2:30 pm at COR or visit www.kciya.org to sign up. Walkers may park at ICJC and take a bus at 1:30 or 2 pm to COR.
Walkers may also park at COR in Lot J. A bus will be available after the walk to transport walkers from ICJC to COR.
